About the blog

Hi folks, my name is Sara.

32, born in Sweden, grown up in Austria. Living outside Vienna in a small old house with my husband, our 4-year old son, 2 sewing machines, loads of fabrics and a wheelchair.

Working as a home office clerk for my father´s business.

Due to my muscular dystrophy I only feel safe in my own four walls where everything is designed for me. I´m only leaving my home maybe once a month. So my world is a lot up to web and to my fantasy.

You´re welcome to enter my fantasy.

I´m happy for each single comment. You can write me in English, German or Swedish.

    Hello Sara,

I got your blog link through David Lebovitz’s blog on Facebook.

I like your blog because it triggers the domestic side in me. My mom owns an old Singer sewing machine (the paddle kind) in Malaysia and I have helped her and my grandmother with sewing when I was little. I may actually try to get some fabric from Ikea and start sewing again, if or when I have the time… :)

I reside in the United States and recently made my first trip to Australia (Melbourne and Perth), besides China. I am intrigue with what people do in different parts of the world. :)

Hi Sara! Found you via the Ikea link like the rest. I enjoy reading about your little adventures. I live near Seattle, WA in the US. I really liked the shoulder bag. I’m going to try and make one but will probably use velcro for the closure (and probably not in pink). I hope you have a lovely day :)

Hi Sara, landed on your page through twitter. On your IKEA catalog from 1965 blog. I wrote about it and placed a link, which I hope you don’t mind. Haven’t read anything else yet. Will do that soon. Kind regards from the Netherlands.
