Do your own Messenger Bag
Some weeks ago my sister said she also wants a bag like Little Sweety. So she got a Little Red Messenger Bag for her birthday. Little Red Fabric is fromsuperbuzzy, red fabric for lining is from IKEA.
I use to make this bag out of one piece of fabric, as you can see on the drawing. This is not really a tutorial or pattern – it is up to your creativity how the bag will look like at the end.
You only have 4 seams: first you sew sides to bottom, then sides to back. You can make it any size you want. You can line it or not, use a closure or not, make the front as long as the back/flap or not, rounded corners on the front or not. There are many different possibilities for the strapes and where to attach them to the bag.
